i dont think MGS Substance & Subsistence will go up in price. while substance sold for much less than other ps2 games, it might hold its price the same as it is now. i would have to agree with GH that the collection will come out and for those who did not get to play it, will now have a chance and for $30 thats a steal.

MGS1 might not go up in price. the game sold so many copies back in the Ps1 days, theres way too many copies of it on ebay. a sealed copy might fetch very high after the collection is released though.

yourself fitness might not go up as well. even if its compatible with the 360, i dont think anyone really took that title seriously. i did play it on the xbox and it was pretty fun.

i think smash bros. 64 dropped because people are just angry that the game got pushed for another month. i had a sealed copy up on ebay before the Feb 10th release date with alot of watchers but after the announcement i think the interest for it died.

gamehoaders, Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't heard about the MGS Essentials game until I had written this. I think that might hurt my prediction.

I also wanted to update. It looks like my Smash Bros. prediction was a bit off timing wise. The game has already dropped in price a lot and it is February. I still think that is a pretty good prediction though, just a bit off on the timing.

Sorry JJ, but I think Konami has already thrown a wrench in your MGS predictions by announcing the Metal Gear Solid Essentials collection. A great collection at $30 by any measure, but unfortunately for my collection, I think MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistence are going to tank in price because of it.

well I must say, that prediction about Devil May Cry is bull. DMC 3 didnt sell, the worst, 2 did. And 3 is the farthest in the storyline from 4, because 4 takes place between 1 and 2. Jesus.

That is a good point about WiiFit sales boosting DDR sales. I could see Dance Dance Mario Mix getting a boost in price because it can be played on the Wii and is hard to find.

The other DDR's might get some boost but I don't know how much. If DDR for Wii is no longer being produced I could see its price spiking after WiiFit comes out too.

For the most part I think these are some pretty good predictions. If you are a short little hairy guy and these predictions turn out true, maybe you are THE Punxsutawney Phil.

I think if WiiFit becomes successful here then I wonder if DDR sales will increase too. Maybe not since there are about 20 different versions of that game.
